Cookie policy
What they are and which rules apply
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Spanish law (article 22.2 LSSI-CE) refers to "data storage and retrieval devices", so the same rules apply to equivalent technologies such as browser local storage, which is what this site uses to remember your choice.
Apart from the strictly necessary one, nothing is activated without your consent. Accept and reject sit at the same level in the first window, with no pre-ticked boxes and no design tricks, in line with the Spanish Data Protection Agency's criteria, enforceable since January 2024.
Exactly what this site stores
Necessary — els-consentbrowser local storage (not a server cookie). It records only whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, and the date of that decision. Without it we would have to ask you on every page. Duration: 12 months. Not shared with anyone. Owner: this site.
The site uses no advertising, social network or personalisation cookies, and shares no data with advertising platforms. There are no embedded videos or maps loading third-party cookies without permission: the map on the contact page, once enabled, will load only after you accept.
Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 will be loaded, provided by Google Ireland Limited, so we can see which pages are read and whether contact arrives by call, by WhatsApp or by form. The IP address is handled in anonymised form and is not used for advertising.
- _ga — distinguishes users anonymously. Duration: 2 years. Owner: Google.
- _ga_<identifier> — keeps the measurement session state. Duration: 2 years. Owner: Google.
While analytics is not yet configured, this site loads no Google script at all, even if you accept. It will only be activated once the company has its own measurement account.
How to accept, reject or change your mind
- The first time you visit, a notice appears with two buttons at the same level: accept or reject. You may close the site without choosing; until you choose, analytics stays off.
- To change your decision later, use the "Manage cookies" link in the footer: the notice reappears and you can choose again.
- Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and has no consequence for using the site: everything works the same.
You can also delete or block storage from your browser, in the privacy section of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. If you do, the site will ask you again on your next visit.
How long your decision lasts
The Spanish Data Protection Agency recommends renewing consent at most every 24 months. This site asks again after 12 months, comfortably within that criterion.
Updates
If tools using cookies are added in future, this page will be updated before they are switched on and consent will be requested again.
